How far in advance do I need to book my bridal trial?

I would suggest getting in touch as soon as possible to secure a date for both the wedding day and trial, however the trial itself I recommend being carried out approximately 6 weeks ahead of the wedding date.

 

Can you travel to me for the trial?

Yes I can travel to your home for the wedding trial if you wish, otherwise I have a home based studio in Mansfield Woodhouse

 

How should I prepare for my trial?

I ask for you to bring some images along with you of the styles of makeup you would prefer. Instagram and Pinterest are great sources! It is best to come alone and with clean, makeup free skin. If you are planning to wear your hair up on the day, I would suggest doing the same at the trial so we can get the best indication of the final look, as well as wearing something light/white.

 

Are you trained or self-taught?

I am trained in beauty therapy NVQ level 2 and Makeup Specialist NVQ Level 3.

 

What makeup do you hold in your kit?

 

I use a variety of high end makeup brands including MAC, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and Nars.

 

Will you help make my makeup last for the time I need it to?

 

Yes, good skincare is key to preparing the base of your makeup effectively. I will use products specific to your skin type, plus primers, finishing sprays and powders to ensure the best finish possible, plus longevity.
